The Clinical Social Worker I is a licensed, experienced professional who is the clinical expert in the assessment and treatment of pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients and their families in a variety of inpatient and ambulatory settings in the Yale New Haven Health System. As the clinical expert, the scope of practice includes, but is not limited to, diagnostic assessment, counseling, psychotherapy, brief treatment, crisis intervention, mental health consultation, teaching/mentoring, and/or other project/task force participation as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications EDUCATION Master's Degree from an accredited school of social work. EXPERIENCE Consistent with LICSW licensure requirements. LICENSURE Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) from the State of Rhode Island, or those holding licenses from other states, will need an "endorsement" and meet the State of Rhode Island license requirements.
