--Location: Eugene, OR
--Schedule: Full-Time | 4/10 Shift - Tuesday- Friday, 1:30 PM - 12:00 AM (Midnight)

--Pay: $29.55 + per hour (DOE)

As a Diesel Lube Technician, you'll perform routine maintenance and assist with inspections and light repairs on a fleet of over 125 garbage trucks. You'll work closely with experienced mechanics and be a key part of keeping our fleet safe and reliable.

Responsibilities include:
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance (oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks)
  • Inspect equipment for wear, leaks, or damage
  • Assist with lubrication of chassis, drivetrains, suspensions, and moving parts
  • Help review and complete repairs from Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and OSHA-compliant work environment
  • Follow company and safety protocols at all times
  • Support diesel mechanics with basic repairs and diagnostics as needed
Job Requirements:
  • 1+ year of lube tech or diesel maintenance experience (or completion of diesel tech program)
  • Valid Drivers License with Clean driving record
  • Class B CDL OR ability to obtain if required
  • Must provide your own basic tools
  • Basic knowledge of truck systems and hydraulics a plus
  • Ability to follow directions, work safely, and learn quickly
  • Strong work ethic and team-first attitude
  • Subject to pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing per company policy
  • Must pass company background check
  • Must have clean driving record.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
  • On-site shop with modern equipment and ventilation
  • Occasional outdoor work when performing roadside assistance
  • Requires lifting up to 50 lbs and working in tight or greasy spaces
  • Fast-paced, safety-focused, and team-oriented environment
