Description Leidos is in search of a Project Manager to support the exciting Antarctic Support Contract (ASC) team. This position will perform assignments such as: developing procedures, processes, performance measurement metrics, understanding of subcontractor contract requirements, coordination and preparation of data to support project performance reviews, monthly reporting and maintaining and reporting on project key performance indicators (KPI's). Additionally, this position will oversee the detailed planning and coordination of project work and the integration of all tasks into a unified effort that minimizes impacts to ongoing operations. This position will also take part in project proposal development, proposal writing, and coordination with subcontractors. Essential attributes for this position are leadership (people and/or project), time management, deadline orientation, effective communication, attention to detail, contract knowledge and experience managing subcontractors, and computer competences. This position will work across the entire organization and will need to foster a strong teamwork, collaboration, and leadership skillset. *** Deployment to Antarctica may be necessary at the discretion of management (approximately 3 to 8 weeks/year). The candidate in the position must complete the physical and dental examinations required by the NSF for deploying to Antarctica. *** Due to contract requirements, US Citizenship is required. Must obtain a Public Trust security clearance prior to start date. This process could take up to 4 months. Narrowed Salary Range here Your greatest work is ahead! Leidos ASC provides science and logistics support for approximately 150 science and technical events across three geographically remote research stations; McMurdo Station, Palmer Station, and South Pole Station and several deep field sites across Antarctica. Each station or field site supports world class research across multiple science disciplines.
