Job Description for Posting: MRM Media requires a blend of creativity, science, psychology, tech-savvy and innovation. We strategize how brands should communicate with people across the myriad of media channels, and how to do that differently from every other brand. This role will allow you to flex your media prowess in service of solving big brand and business challenges. We are seeking a Director Search to lead day to day strategy and initiatives. We're looking for a highly versatile, hands-on team player who thrives in an "all-hands-on-deck" environment, seamlessly shifting from big-picture strategy to the most detailed execution. This role requires someone who can craft SEM strategies and clearly explain complex search concepts to audiences who aren't specialists, including senior business leaders and CMOs. Strong communication and strategic thinking are critical, as you'll need to speak the language of senior management while translating data-driven insights into actionable recommendations. You'll oversee the SEM team who monitors and assesses KPIs on a daily basis and work with them to proactively propose strategic solutions to improve performance. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise across search platforms and analytics tools including Google Ads, Bing, SEMrush, Google Analytics, and Search Ads 360, with experience writing compelling ad copy for financial. Knowledge of P-MAX campaign strategy-including its pros and cons-is valuable, along with experience in store visit tracking via Apple Search Ads. Bonus points for candidates skilled in integrating Salesforce data with search data, as this capability is a huge advantage in driving smarter optimization decisions. This Role May Be for You If: - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. - 12+ years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on SEM, including hands-on experience managing large-scale SEM campaigns. - Proven track record of driving measurable results and achieving business objectives through SEM initiatives. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams. - Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, using insights to inform decision-making. - Deep understanding of SEM platforms (e.g., Google, Bing), bid management tools, and analytics platforms. - Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. - Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. In This Role, You Will: - Develop and execute comprehensive SEM strategies aligned with business objectives and growth targets. - Conduct competitive analyses to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities within the marketplace, leveraging insights to inform SEM strategies. - Lead a team of SEM professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive performance and career development. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Media planning, Data Analytics, SEO, and other buying channels (e.g. Social, Programmatic, Digital Partnerships) to align SEM initiatives with overall business goals. - Conduct market research to stay abreast of and educate the media team on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in SEM. - Ensure compliance with industry regulations, best practices, and platform policies related to SEM advertising and stay informed about changes to search engine algorithms, ad policies, and other relevant developments, adapting strategies accordingly. - Clearly, persuasively, and confidently to internal senior management and senior clients and deliver your message whether it be a QBR or a new business pitch with style, substance, and enthusiasm. What We Are Looking For: - Oversee marketing operations for multiple clients, managing end-to-end campaign planning and implementation. - Utilize advanced targeting, bidding, and ad copy strategies to maximize campaign performance and efficiency. - Manage and optimize campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads and Bing Ads. - Handle budget management to ensure efficient resource allocation and maximize return on investment (ROI). - Monitor spend trends, adjust budgets as needed, and deliver regular forecasts and reports to senior leadership. - Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks to measure SEM campaign success. - Develop and present regular performance reports, highlighting trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement. - Manage publisher and vendor relationships to ensure smooth campaign execution. - Build and strengthen client relationships through strategic partnership and collaboration. - Monitor client and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities.
