Summary
Responsible for the day-to-day oversight and technical management of CT program staff. Provides direction and professional feedback and training to the CT team and program.

Essential Functions
-Supervises licensed clinicians and/or student interns and other staff working in the program.

-Participates in staff hiring, work allocation, training, performance management, including required documentation, as well as other supervisory functions.

-Supports and guides technologists, technicians and other staff to ensure high quality clinical care of patients.

-Responsible for educating and preparing patients for their examinations.

-Position patients so desired anatomy will be demonstrated.

Education
Associate's Degree Radiologic Technology required

Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?
No

Licenses and Credentials
Radiologic Technologist [MA] required

Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] preferred

Computed Tomography (ARRT) [ARRT-CT] - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required

Experience
Hospital/Clinical Setting Experience 5-7 years required and Radiological Experience 3-5 years required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Advanced knowledgeable in radiologic technology and other therapies and modalities.
- Detailed knowledge of and operational skills of sophisticated computer equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to interact compassionately and effectively with patients, their families and staff.
- Display strong leadership and communication skills to clearly manage and oversee program staff.
- Possess a high level of technical expertise in radiologic technology to problem solve complex issues.
