MPS School Social Workers assist in modifying social, emotional and environmental factors affecting children's education in order to promote an equitable and successful school experience. Qualified school social workers hold a master's degree in social work and a Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction pupil services license. The salary range for the Full-Time School Social Worker position starts at $66,312.65 and increases according to a set salary schedule which is based on years' of work experience as a fully licensed School Social Worker. The work schedule for this position is 10-months/200 work days during the school year. This position is covered under the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS) Equal Employment Opportunity
