Student Worker Job Description 2025

• Create advertisements for specific events on Canva.

• Create RSVP forms when necessary.

• Assist with tracking attendance at events.

• Assist with purchasing materials for events.

• Help post events on SEAL Instagram.

• Assist with Club Rush, Involvement Fair.

• Assist with Club Training.

• Attend SGA General Assembly, serve as a liaison for the office of SEAL.

• Assist with tracking community service for clubs.

• Assist with online club purchases.

• Assist in tracking club purchases/receipts.

• Assist in design, build, and maintenance of the Discover East platform which will be the centralized virtual space where RSOs and SEAL Office files, club rosters, club constitutions, officer and advisor lists, archival documents, and forms will be kept.

• Assist with recruitment for Alternative Spring Break programming, including development of marketing strategies.

• Assist in the development of application materials.

• Assist in maintenance and content creation for the Alternative Spring Break website.

• Research, develop, and advertise fundraising opportunities.

• Create advertisements for Community Service opportunities.

• Assist in the coordination and execution of community service events.

• Additionally, assist with creation and compilation of follow up surveys regarding community service.

• Connect with local organizations to create an online inventory with a thorough list of recommended organizations to serve with the most up to date contact information.

• Greet students and assist as needed.

• Check out gaming consoles to students.

• Maintain a neat and orderly game room.

• Refill Student Affairs athletic equipment with air/charge devices.

• Enforce general rules of the game room.

• Assist with stocking the food pantry.

• Ensure that the Pantry is neat and orderly.

• Monitor the temperature of the Freezer in the Pantry.

• Ensure that the microwave is clean

• Assist with creation/putting up of Bulletin Boards/Display Case.

• Manage/Maintain Perkins Room 10.

• Covering SEAL desk on a weekly basis.

• Monitor website content for most accurate information and ease of access.

• Assist in identification of areas for improvement.

• Assist in development of content that should be added to enhance facilitation of information and awareness of resources pertaining to the Office of Student Engagement and Leadership.
