SUMMARY

Regal Rexnord is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance and facilities operations at our 130,000 sq. ft. manufacturing site in Morehead, KY. This facility includes grinding, milling, turning, assembly, powder coating, and passivation systems across two shifts.

In this role, you'll champion a Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) strategy, leveraging tools like Fiix CMMS to improve uptime, reduce repair times, manage inventory more effectively, and support plant-wide KPIs. You'll provide strategic leadership to a multi-tiered maintenance team-comprising a Maintenance Supervisor and technicians-while fostering collaboration, accountability, and a culture of operational excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Promote safety awareness and comply with all safety rules from both external and internal standards.
  • Lead the implementation and execution of TPM using Regal Business System methodologies.
  • Manage and develop a team of 6-10 Maintenance Technicians through a Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Oversee maintenance of all production equipment and facility infrastructure to meet uptime and performance standards.
  • Ensure compliance with documented procedures to maintain safety and quality standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Support and improve 6S standards within the maintenance department.
  • Facilitate cross-training to broaden team capabilities and increase operational flexibility.
  • Support personal and team development through internal and external continued education programs

  • Familiarity with equipment such as HAAS, Okuma, Doosan, Mazak, Supertec, powder coat paint systems, and/or passivation systems.

  • PLC & Controls:Allen-Bradley, Fanuc, Doosan-Fanuc, Siemens
  • ERP & Software:Oracle iProc, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of machinery maintenance leadership experience
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop high-performing teams. Master's degree or MBA.
  • Experience in Lean manufacturing and participation in Kaizen events.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience developing and maintaining preventive maintenance programs.

Work environment

Primarily in the Manufacturing environment and secondarily performing office work. Includes regular exposure to noise levels at or above 85 decibels, dust particles, light radiation, paint or oil products, and weather changes. Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be required to be worn during shift.

Physical requirements

Potential physical demands include, but are not limited to frequent walking and standing, occasional twisting, stooping, carrying, handling, pushing, and pulling; climbing, kneeling, and lifting to 50 lbs. Potential sensory demands include but are not limited tohearing and seeing.
