Customer Service Representative

Are you a skilled communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Staffmark is hiring a Customer Service Representative to join a leading logistics company in Bolingbrook, IL. In this role, you'll be the go-to connection between drivers, customers, and operations-helping keep supply chains moving smoothly every day.

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr

Shift Available Only: Tuesday - Saturday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (rotating weekends may be required based on business needs)

What You'll Do

• Answer high-volume inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and efficiency
• Monitor shipments, pickups, and deliveries to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Communicate updates with drivers, customers, account managers, and receivers
• Take check calls and record real-time updates in the system
• Manage and document overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D)
• Schedule and adjust delivery appointments as needed
• Provide routing instructions and resolve delivery delays

What We're Looking For

• 1+ year of customer service experience in logistics or transportation
• Strong phone etiquette and multitasking skills
• Basic understanding of transportation operations and shipping documentation
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and adaptable to changing priorities
• Comfortable learning new computer systems quickly
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when needed
