Machinist

Staffmark is hiring a skilled Machinist in Warsaw, IN. This is a great opportunity to put your precision machining skills to work with a reputable company while enjoying consistent pay and excellent benefits.

Pay: $28.75/hr

Shift: 3rd Shift | Schedule details provided during interview

What You'll Do:

• Set up and operate a variety of machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, shapers, planers, and precision grinders
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine machining requirements
• Use machinist hand tools and precision measuring instruments to ensure exact tolerances
• Perform computations related to dimensions, tooling, feeds, and speeds
• Lay out, fit, and assemble precision parts into mechanical equipment
• Modify and adjust NC (numerically controlled) programs as needed
• Monitor and verify product quality using control procedures
• Perform troubleshooting, basic machine adjustments, and report malfunctions
• Lift up to 50 lbs as needed

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years of machinist experience
• Vocational or technical training/certification preferred
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Knowledge of production processes, tooling, and shop procedures
• Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills
