Job Summary

The Procurement and Logistics Manager is responsible for procurement, distribution and storage of uniforms, equipment, records, and other items essential to the proper operation of various security contracts.

Primary Responsibilities

The specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:



  • Responsible for the supervision, care, control, inspection, and inventory accountability of all Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. uniforms and equipment.
  • Responsible for the inventory accountability of all weapons (including handguns, long guns, batons, etc.) and organize, update and maintain physical firearms record keeping.
  • Responsible for projects and deadlines such as new and closing contracts.
  • Perform daily, weekly and quarterly inventory control monitoring such as cycle counting, data entry, and warehouse organization.
  • Assist with issuing of uniforms and equipment to new hires and return officers.
  • Responsible for ordering uniforms, equipment, firearms and vehicles, using established vendor relationships.
  • Responsible for ordering new vehicles with established vendor relationships.
  • Monitor Driver specific IDs to manage and report on bi-weekly basis
  • Coordinate rental vehicles reservation for various contracts
  • Working closely with vendors, mechanics and body shops
  • Coordinate fuel cards issuance and retrieval, as well as fuel pins
  • Complete administrative duties such as approving invoices, updating forms and maintenance calendar.
  • Assist Procurement and Logistics Lead and Manager with projects and deadlines such as new and closing contracts.
  • Complete administrative duties such as updating forms, maintaining the office calendar and filing.
  • Establishing and maintaining new vendor relationships.
  • Weekly Activity Report shall be submitted to the Chief Administrative Officer and shall always be available for inspection.
  • Other duties as assigned by the National Account Manager


Qualifications

Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree from a Regionally Accredited University.
  • At least 5-year experience in Procurement and/or Logistics support gained from the military, retail, or other related setting.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including but not limited to Excel, Power BI, etc.
  • Experience with Inventory/Warehouse Management system.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking ability; strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent customer focus and collaboration skills; experience working with internal service teams and customers is a plus.
  • Able to act quickly, decisively, and tactfully to establish and meet deadlines with quality results and to simultaneously manage multiple tasks in an environment where change is a frequent occurrence.
  • Must possess the ability to work independently with little supervision and/or direction.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License.
  • Must be a strong communicator, with excellent interpersonal skills.
