Are you enthusiastic about helping people navigate change and making a positive impact? We're looking for a motivated and curious individual to join our team as an Associate Change Management Consultant. In this role, you'll support a variety of technology initiatives-ranging from small enhancements to larger projects-while learning the foundations of change management.

  • Contributes to developing basic change management strategies and plans for initiatives and/or initiatives
  • Understands and can explain the need for change management to teams
  • Identifies groups and individuals impacted by an initiative and supports stakeholder assessment development
  • Supports development and delivery of engaging and innovative communications using appropriate channels (e.g., portal pages, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Identifies and supports training needs on projects or initiatives, including job aids, portal page content or user materials
  • Learns the organization and develops competence by performing structured work assignments and uses existing procedures to solve standard problems

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or related fields or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Previous Duke Energy internship experience

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office products
  • Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication and group presentation skills
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills: negotiation, conflict management skills, influencing skills, ability to give and receive positive and constructive feedback
  • Ability to adapt and change as business needs change
  • Ability to manage change in fast-paced environment
  • Comfort with complexity, ambiguity and change
