Milton Hershey School (MHS) is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Contract Manager to join our procurement team. This full-time, onsite role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality service to our stakeholder community and ensuring the efficient development, execution, and maintenance of contracts across the organization. The Contract Manager will serve as a key liaison between Procurement, stakeholders, suppliers, the Office of General Counsel, and shared service support for a subsidiary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Through strong relationships with stakeholders, draft contract documents and manage workflow
  • Manage the full contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and terminations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to promote excellence in procurement practices
  • Lead supplier negotiations to secure favorable terms and ensure continuity of service
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive contract template library
  • Partner with the Office of General Counsel and Risk Management to ensure compliance and mitigate risk
  • Educate staff and monitor adherence to procurement policies
  • Support procurement operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of procurement experience handling contracts
  • Proven expertise in managing commercial contracts and legal agreements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ERP systems experience is a plus
  • Strong multitasking and goal-achievement capabilities in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate, negotiate, educate, and collaborate
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrated integrity as all staff are role models for MHS students
  • Enthusiasm for engaging with students and contributing to the school's mission
