Location: Mt. Sterling, IL
Department: Accounts Receivable
Reports To: Director of Credit
Salary Range: $75,156-$112,735 annually, plus bonus opportunity

As an Accounts Receivable Manager, you will be responsible for execution of sound credit, collection and deduction policies. Also responsible for recruiting, training, coaching, and managing Accounts Receivable staff.

WHAT YOU'LL DO



  • Assist Director of Credit in setting and meeting annual quality goals and plans, operating budgets, bad debt and deduction reserves, and strategic planning.
  • Communicate and enforce credit, collection and deduction policies.
  • Work with internal customers and suppliers to resolve customer credit and deduction issues.
  • Proactively work through staff to identify the root causes of deduction issues and lead initiatives to reduce write-offs and increase automation.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts while applying lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste.


YOU MUST HAVE



  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years demonstrated successful management experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate & lead in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to influence and implement change.
  • Excellent project management, planning and organizational skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills.


YOU MAY ALSO HAVE



  • 5 years demonstrated successful management experience.
  • Effective interpersonal skills dealing with people at various levels and across different functions.


ROLE SPECIFICS



  • Travel - Occasional overnight travel for outside trainings and meetings. Must have ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train.
