What You Will Do

In this part-time role (less than 30 hours per week), you will provide accounting services support for the Milliman's San Diego practice.

Key responsibilities include:



  • Client Billing - close month, provide reports to billing managers, prepare client invoices, maintain supporting files related to billing and assist billing managers as required
  • Client Budget Support - provide the support billing managers require to assist them with managing a contracted project budget
  • Ensure accounting methods adhere to Corporate mandated policies and procedures


What We Are Looking For

Professional Qualifications



  • Completed or actively pursuing a bachelor's degree with coursework in accounting, business, or finance
  • Accounting experience
  • Proficient using Microsoft office products (Word, Excel)

  • Former Milliman interns may be preferred candidates

The Team

The San Diego Health practice includes employees with diverse areas of experience and expertise in the pharmacy space. Current employees include actuaries, PBM analysts/consultants, pharmacists, and pharmacy technicians.

Location

The expected application deadline for this job is September 3, 2025.

Candidates hired into this role will be required to work in-person in the Milliman office in San Diego, California on a weekly basis, but flexible work arrangements will be considered.

Compensation

The overall hourly range for this role is $23.24 - $35.99. A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc. This is a part-time, non-exempt overtime eligible role; with overtime eligibility after 40 hours of work per week.
