Position: Clinical Education Specialist

Location: Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas

Shift: PT Days 16/hrs per week.

Overview:

Develops, delivers, and coordinates the standardized new hire orientation programs for licensed and unlicensed clinical coworkers across the Ministry. Responsible for developing and updating core programs in alignment with evidence-based practice. Develops, delivers and coordinates ongoing education for change efforts and annual competency including but not limited to recurring certifications related to life support and workplace safety.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Discipline Required or enrolled within 6 months of hire.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.

• License: Current appropriate state license if required in discipline.*

• Certifications: BLS provider

• Preferred Education: BSN/Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

• Preferred License: RN License

• Preferred Experience: 2 years teaching experience

• Prefered Certification: Specialty Certification (NPD within 2 years preferred)
