Job Responsibilities

- Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between departments according to production and shipping schedules.
- Review production schedules and work orders to determine materials requirements and priorities.
- Communicate with department supervisors and production staff to ensure on-time delivery of products and materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and work with purchasing to facilitate timely procurement of necessary materials.
- Resolve production delays by identifying and addressing bottlenecks in the process.
- Prepare and maintain detailed production and inventory reports for management review.
- Collaborate with quality control and production teams to address and rectify any production issues.
- Ensure all materials and products comply with company quality standards and specifications.
- Coordinate with logistics and shipping departments to ensure timely dispatch of finished products.
- Assist in the development and implementation of production process improvements and optimization strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of production schedules, material usage, and inventory levels.
- Facilitate effective communication between production, purchasing, and logistics

- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or certification in supply chain management or related field is a plus
- Proven experience as a production expeditor, production planner, or similar role
- Strong understanding of production processes and supply chain management principles
- Proficiency in using ERP systems and production tracking software
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment
- Flexibility to work overtime or on shifts, if required

- Required: Compliant with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), which requires U.S. Person status (ITAR defines "U.S. Person" as a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident.)
