  • Estimated hourly base pay: Level 1:$23.15 (minimum) - $28.94 (midpoint) - $34.73 (maximum)

If you're looking to be a Mechanical Repair Technician, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

** This position is for a2nd-shift, Monday through Friday (5X8).

What You Will Be Doing

  • Receives customer product returns, makes decisions on product dispositions; use, upgrade or replace
  • Evaluate and trouble-shoot for root cause of failure as initial point of product analysis. Compare findings against standards; elevate as needed in pursuit of conclusions
  • Interface with engineering to provide support in troubleshooting product and process problems, product warranty evaluation, work estimation
  • Complete disassembly, re-assembly, test, part re-use evaluation, diagnosis, and correction of problems
  • Complete warranty and/or repair of inactive products, current production products and customer owned products

What We Are Looking For

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years related mechanical repair work experience
  • Ability to diagnose product condition as known or new condition by utilizing formal acceptance criteria catalogue or historical data on product or issue
  • Ability to follow work instructions (such as PowerPoint, MIS, EFMS, BDDS, AP's (assembly procedures), some legacy products have paper build books
  • Technical product knowledge to identify contributing factors to component failure in field
