Senior Data Scientist - PMDA (C)

Job Overview:

The Senior Data Scientist will conduct quantitative analysis using operations research tools, economics, and other quantitative techniques; assist in creating analysis procedures, machine learning, and data mining strategies; specialize in modeling and simulation.

Support Hours: Applicant shall be available during core work hours as established the Government customer.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conducts quantitative analysis using operations research tools, economics, and other quantitative techniques in the areas of procedural implementations and performance issues.
• Creates analysis procedures.
• Assists in the definition of machine learning and data mining strategies.
• Creates, deploys, maintains and refines decision management models.
• Specialist in modeling and simulation functions or operations such as, but not limited to exercises, plans, coordination, demonstrations, and instruction in the fields such as, but not limited to health, environmental, transportation, law enforcement, and security for military and civilian agencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, engineering, sciences, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years specialized experience (or 10 years general experience with 3 years specialized experience, including modeling and analysis in a law enforcement environment).
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Security Requirement:

• Active Top Secret Security Clearance
