Basic Function Technician level staff members participate in conducting laboratory work according to written instructions or protocols under the direct supervision of management and with oversight by quality assurance. Nature and Scope We are currently seeking an entry-level Technician to support MRIGlobal's government and commercial pharmaceutical programs that involve the receipt, storage, and distribution of pharmaceutical materials. The position requires technical skills, including demonstration of the ability to appropriately handle, label, and store materials, and to accurately weigh small and large quantities of materials using laboratory balances. Essential Functions Must be able to make positive contributions in a team environment to successfully execute tasks that must adhere to strict timelines and quality standards Must participate in daily use of a computer and a printer, able to send and review internal emails, and maintain legible handwriting that is traceable Must carefully observe material labels, inspect material quality, and create and maintain documents Must be able to pack materials for shipment using appropriate configurations to ensure the security and integrity of the material is maintained Must be able to read and follow all necessary procedures, protocols, and instructions required to perform tasks and support projects/studies in accordance with all applicable quality and safety policies Must be available to respond after hours to occasional alarms for temperature and humidity excursions within the laboratory to maintain the integrity of the materials stored within. Success Factors This is an entry-level position; on-the-job training will be provided. Success will depend upon the ability to actively engage in the training through attentive listening, critical thinking, asking questions, and immediately bringing concerns to the attention of management. Good Documentation Practices. Attention to detail, with carefully following procedures to adhere to current Good Manufacturing Practices regulations (cGMP) is essential. Pay Range $39,000 - $45,000 The salary range is intended as a general guideline and is not a guaranteed offer, as compensation depends on various factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate qualifications, experience, internal equity, and market conditions.
