Monitoring System Administrator

By Light is seeking a Monitoring System Administrator to join our team. The Administrator will work on an integrated team of system administrators, database administrators and application support professionals for our Government client. This is a 24x7x365 environment requiring shift work.

Team performs 24x7x365 monitoring of production and non-production systems
• Smoke testing of applications
• Reporting of issues to internal team
• Contacting on-call staff when required
• Rotational shift work (after hours and weekends) is required for this position

• 5+ years of related system administration experience.
• Ability to communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently or under general direction.

• Existing VA access

• Rotational shift work (after hours and weekends) is required for this position
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust

• Must be able to sit at a computer during shifts
