Position Summary
The Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) plays a critical role in driving the firm's financial planning processes, performance analysis, and reporting cadence. With a key focus on the SG&A components of the P&L and financial reporting, this role partners across the business to provide high-impact insights that support strategic and operational decision-making. The ideal candidate brings strong financial acumen, analytical depth, and the ability to synthesize data into clear, actionable recommendations. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring cross-functional collaboration, process ownership, and oversight of one direct report: a Sr. Financial Analyst.

What You'll Do
  • Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range planning processes in coordination with business leaders and Finance leadership.
  • Analyze financial performance, including variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods, and prepare clear, actionable reporting.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models, including full financial statement models (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow) and scenario analyses.
  • Produce monthly reporting packages, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Partner with the Business Intelligence team to align financial and operational data and surface key performance drivers.
  • Business Partner with Sales, Marketing and G&A budget leaders, providing financial analysis, forecasting and business insights to help drive strategic decisions
  • Support sales planning efforts, including analysis and tracking of variable compensation and sales commissions.
  • Prepare materials for board meetings, lender compliance reporting, and executive updates.
  • Collaborate with Accounting and Operations to improve data accuracy, financial systems, and internal processes.
  • Manage and mentor a Sr. Financial Analyst, providing oversight, coaching, and professional development.
What You'll Bring
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance
  • Strong understanding of full financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow), and how they interconnect.
  • Proven long-range financial planning experience and the ability to model complex scenarios.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; strong proficiency in PowerPoint.
  • Experience building and maintaining financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting sales organizations, including commission plan modeling and analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with Adaptive Planning, NetSuite, Salesforce, and business intelligence tools like Tableau.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage deliverables in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Prior experience managing or mentoring junior team members.
  • Must be a team-oriented individual with a proactive and positive approach, consistently displaying enthusiasm, a cooperative spirit and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline required.

  • Experience in a professional services or consulting environment.
  • Industry exposure to cybersecurity, IT advisory, or professional services.
  • Experience in private equity-backed environments or investment banking.
The salary range listed is a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role based on national salary averages. The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, geographic location, training, licensure and certifications and other factors. You may also be eligible to participate in annual incentive, commission, and/or recognition programs.
