Job Duties:
The American Indian & Indigenous Studies Program (AIIS) seeks a dynamic professional to join our team as a non-tenure-track Teaching Faculty. This position will teach two 3-credit courses per semester and two 3-credit summer courses. In addition, they will serve as the academic advisor for students pursuing a certificate in AIIS. In addition to home departments, advisors in L&S are a part of an active advising community and interdependent system. During the academic year, L&S advisors meet monthly as a consortium for information sharing and ongoing training. All L&S advisors also contribute to the campus Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration (SOAR) program, for a couple weeks in summer and a few days in January, to advise new L&S first-year and transfer students. This position is onsite and full-time, 100%. Key Job Responsibilities:
College of Letters & Science, American Indian & Indigenous Studies Compensation:The typical starting salary for this position is $60,000 - $72,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
