What you'll do as a Sr Solution Manager:
- Define, maintain, and lead capability solutions and strategies in alignment with McLane's IT&D and enterprise-wide business objectives.
- Establish governance frameworks for capability lifecycle management, ensuring alignment with compliance, security, and enterprise architecture standards.
- Own, maintain, and effectively communicate capability catalog to McLane's business stakeholders and IT&D department.
- Collaborate with and influence key McLane stakeholders on technology investments, roadmaps, and capability strategies, while presenting performance metrics and driving alignment with strategic goals.
- Communicate IT&D objectives, solution roadmaps, and release plans clearly and consistently across all stakeholder groups.
- Develop and manage end-to-end solution strategies, from ideation through design, delivery, deployment, and production, including validation of enhancements and projects.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks across solution portfolios and lead change management efforts for large-scale digital or organizational transformations.
- Ensure continuous improvement and operational excellence by identifying opportunities for solution rationalization, reducing duplication, and maintaining upgrade paths and supportability.
- Champion innovation and the adoption of emerging technologies to drive competitive advantage, while implementing industry best practices.
- Build and maintain strong cross-functional and strategic relationships to ensure alignment of solutions with overall business priorities and objectives.
- Stay current on vendor roadmaps and evaluate their impact on McLane's solution architecture and capability planning.
- Mentor and coach Solution Managers and cross-functional teams to build solution management maturity and domain expertise.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications you'll bring as a Sr Solution Manager:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; master's degree strongly preferred.
- Seven or more years of experience in IT solution management, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Deep understanding of enterprise architecture, solution design, and IT governance.
- Strong executive presence with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and drive consensus across diverse teams.
- Experience in supply chain, logistics, or retail technology is highly desirable.

Working Conditions:
- Office environment with hybrid flexibility.
