Position Highlights |
This part-time position will work closely with the Dean, Assistant Dean for Finance & Administration, and Associate Deans of the College to guide and strategize the business and administrative policies & processes in order to effectively manage the resources and programs of the College. The organizational administration includes areas such as budget planning, business processes, chart of accounts, financial reporting, grants management, training, academic program development, faculty compensation, faculty recruitment, and organization structures of units & programs under the College, etc.. Duties & Responsibilities |
- Works closely with the Dean, Assistant Dean for Finance
& Administration, and Associate Deans of the College to guide and strategize the business and administrative policies & processes. - Provides expert advice and insights in developing the
strategic plans of the college; improving efficiencies; streamlining roles & responsibilities; and setting effective organizational structures. - Provides training and expert consultation to the Dean and
Assistant Dean of Finance & Administration in managing the budget and planning process, faculty compensation and commitment, as well as setting a proper chart of accounts for effective financial reporting and cost monitoring. - Work with the College leadership team to support decision
making and college representation for university wide initiatives and projects.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Expansive knowledge of the University of Arizona systems,
business operation, budget process, and grants management. - Deep understanding of the UA College of Public Health
operation and faculty compensation plans. - Expertise in financial reporting and cost analysis.

Minimum Qualifications |
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained
through professional level experience required. Masters preferred. - Minimum of 11 years of related work experience, including 7
years of managerial experience, preferably in large complex institutions or organizations, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. - Requires experience in leading multiple teams, projects,
programs, and/or functions.

Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report |
In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses.Thesereports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
