We are seeking a critical thinker to serve as a liaison between the planning yards and program offices. This individual will leverage analysis and research to address and resolve inquiries from program offices, planning yards, and the client. The ideal candidate will be proactive in supporting installations, ensuring they meet guided milestones efficiently and effectively.

Roles and Responsibilities (such as deliverables or meeting attended/led):



  • Updating SPIDER (repository) as necessary with information from the planning yard and planning yard reps through emails and phone calls. A SPIDER pull should be saved at least every day to ensure the most accurate information is distributed


  • Completing tasks and needs of the client in a timely manner


  • Comprising an agenda for bi-weekly meetings with HII-GC and BIW planning yards and attending the meetings. Holding meetings with NNSY and PSNS as needed


  • Answering questions from program office and planning yard personnel as directed as well as from the client through emails, phone calls, MS Teams meetings, and texts as/if necessary


  • Comprising a meeting spreadsheet for monthly APM-I and staff meetings to go over upcoming installs, resolve any funding/technical issues as needed, and look at upcoming installs. Redistribute the updated meeting spreadsheet post meeting for program office personnel to take action. Take relevant DSA actions that arise from the meeting.


  • Posting documents as necessary in the DSA Financial Teams channel such as the monthly work/execution plans distributed by the planning yards and making program office personnel cognizant. These documents are resources for both the PDCs as well as the program office


  • Working with fellow PDCs to track funding when it is sent through WBS and funding document forms by the program office BFMs through the entire funding process of when it goes on contract



Skills needed for the role to be successful:

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

-Exhibits openness to new ideas and a proactive approach to learning diverse processes.

- Demonstrates strong retention of information in fast-paced environments

- Willingness to communicate with stakeholders, yard and program personnel, and clients through multiple channels (email, phone, text, etc.).

- Demonstrates the confidence to learn through experience, recognizing that mistakes are a natural part of the process. External stakeholders, program office personnel, and planning yard staff are supportive and collaborative, helping guide improvements and enhance understanding.

Salary: 58k+ dependent on education and experience

Schedule: Hybrid
