Are you a strategic transportation leader ready to drive transformation across a decentralized network? Sonepar USA is seeking a Director of Transportation & Fleet Strategy to lead change, optimize performance, and reshape behaviors. This role requires a dynamic leader who can collaborate across functions, influence without authority, and build trust at both the executive and local levels.

• Lead strategic transportation initiatives across a decentralized network of operating companies.
• Collaborate with Executive, Operating Company, and Functional Area Leaders to drive transformation readiness, including cultural and process shifts, in preparation for future-state.
• Partner with local Transportation Leaders to develop and execute customized strategic transportation plans aligned with local, regional, and national goals inclusive of fleet acquisition, maintenance, and lifecycle optimization.
• Lead strategic initiatives involving national carrier and 3PL relationships, contracts, and service levels.
• Support sustainability and innovation initiatives in transportation and fleet operations.
• Use performance analytics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Transportation, Logistics or Operations, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in strategic transportation leader role, preferred across a decentralized national/regional organization
• Proven success leading transformation and change management in large, complex environments
• Experience working shoulder-to-shoulder with divisional/operating company leaders to drive strategic initiatives
• Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills
• Experience with implementation and managing TMS, ERP, and fleet management systems
• Willingness to travel domestically 50%; reside within 30 miles of major/international airport.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and routing systems.
• Must be authorized to work for Sonepar in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.
