This position is for a Temporary Traveler. . $65 per hour This position is Full Time Night Shift! Education Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required Certification/Licensure Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing Basic Life Support (BLS) Experience Must have two or more years of current acute care hospital RN experience Department/Position Overview: The 3 West Ortho/Trauma unit at Sentara Virginia Beach General specializes in providing expert care for patients with musculoskeletal injuries and related complications. Our unit is comprised of 24 in-patient beds. Our patient population includes admissions from the OrthoJoint, Spine, Fracture, and Ortho/Trauma centers, as well as medical/surgical patients. The nursing unit enjoys a supportive team environment including resources such as a unit-based nurse educator, orthopedic navigator, respiratory therapy, PT/OT, nursing care partners, unit coordinators, charge nurse and manager. The unit has an active Unit-Based Partnership Council and participates in many hospital-wide Nurse led Councils. As aRegistered Nursewith Sentara, you can excel in your career.
