The Analytics, Performance, and Management Unit is a 25-person technology and strategy team situated in the Executive Division of the NYC Department of Transportation. The unit contains five main technical branches: Application Development, Analytics, Hosting and Infrastructure, Data Engineering, and GIS and Spatial Data. This Deputy Director position will lead the Data Engineering and Hosting branches, totaling 5 staff. Minimum Qualifications 1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering or a related field and four years of satisfactory full-time experience related to datacenter engineering and operations, cloud engineering and operations, complex IT infrastructure engineering; or, Preferred Skills
-Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate: BI Reporting (44G) -Four + years of experience developing applications -Two + years of experience with the Django framework -Two + years of experience working with relational databases -Two + years of experience in writing SQL queries -Two + years of experience with Microsoft Power BI -Two + years of business analyst experience -Two + years of technical project management experience Public Service Loan Forgiveness
