Seasonal (Seasonal) JOB TITLE: Rental Technician DIVISION: Rental Department REPORTS TO: Rental Shop Supervisor LOCATION: Rental Shops CLASSIFICATION: Part-Time/ Seasonal/ Hourly POSITION: The Rental Technician provides front-line customer service by properly selecting and setting up rental equipment for guests. Other responsibilities include inspecting equipment as it gets returned and before it goes back out to another guest to determine tuning needs. The job is a rewarding combination of hands on tasks and customer service. SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have customer service experience Capable of standing for extended periods of time and able to lift up to 50 lbs. Willing to work flexible work schedules that may include weekends and holidays Self-starter, ability to work with high standards without supervision High safety standards Attention to detail Basic knowledge of winter and summer sports equipment Basic cashiering skills Passion for winter and summer sports JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide a high level of customer service Must be proactive and take ownership of situations while anticipating and responding to guest needs and wants. Responsible for proper setup up of rental equipment Test and certify rental alpine bindings Provide daily maintenance on rental equipment Provide accurate cashiering THE BENEFITS AND PERKS At Solitude Mountain Resort, we offer a variety of employee benefits!
