Description/Job Summary: The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a full-time Special Assistant in the U.S. Department of Energy's Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE). The Specialist Assistant will support the EERE Front Office leadership in communicating the EERE office's mission, activities, and goals externally and internally. Using a variety of tactics and strategies, this person will help convey the science behind the office's research and elevate the awareness of the office's activities to stakeholders, the public, and Energy Department leadership. The Special Assistant will support the EERE Assistant Secretary and their team and have the opportunity to contribute to the day-to-day running of the office, accompany and preparation and support on external meetings and events, and coordinate high-level briefings and tasks across all levels of DOE and EERE leadership by performing the following unclassified duties:
