Position Summary

Odyssey Systems is seeking experienced Configuration and CDRL Data Managers (CM/DM) to join our talent community for anticipated opportunities supporting various Department of Defense (DoD) and Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) programs. This is an evergreen position used to proactively identify and engage highly qualified candidates for future openings across our portfolio of configuration management and acquisition support efforts.

While this role is not currently tied to a specific contract, selected candidates may be matched to upcoming positions based on their background, skill set, and evolving program needs. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in configuration management, CDRL data oversight, and technical baseline management within a DoD acquisition environment.



Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines related to Configuration and Data Management (CDM) for assigned weapon systems. This position requires hands-on experience supporting Configuration Management activities within a government or contractor-run laboratory environment where system integration, testing, or evaluation occurs.

Duties include, but not limited to:

    Provide configuration management of all relevant program artifacts and maintain CM files.

  • Archive acquisition documentation and maintain traceability of design and documentation.

  • Convene and manage Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), Technical Review Boards (TRBs), and Data Requirements Review Boards (DRRBs).

  • Track and process Change Requests (CRs), Discrepancy/Problem Reports (DRs/PRs), and software releases.

  • Prepare for and support major audits, including Physical and Functional Configuration Audits (PCAs/FCAs).

  • Support development and administration of CM plans; maintain product baselines.

  • Review CDRL data deliverables for compliance and accuracy; maintain delivery records and distribution lists.

  • Coordinate and support government and contractor correspondence, including workflow establishment and documentation management.

  • Perform QA checks on system baselines; manage software licensing and distribution.

  • Monitor contractor compliance with DoD standards, directives, and data regulations.

  • Provide CM/DM input to Statements of Work (SOW), Statements of Objectives (SOO), and Performance Work Statements (PWS).

  • Support events including TIMs, PDRs, CDRs, PCAs, and CCBs.

  • Maintain CM library and repositories using MS Office Suite and other tracking tools.

  • Assist with USAP Self-Inspection Checklists and MICT inputs.

  • Perform analysis and reporting related to configuration and data management performance and compliance.



Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Must have an Active Secret Clearance

Education: BA/BS and 15 years of related experience (5 in DoD), OR

  • 20 years of directly related experience with relevant certifications (8 in DoD)

Certifications:

Preferred Qualifications

Clearance: Top Secret

Education: MA/MS in a technical discipline and 12 years of related experience (5 in DoD)

Certifications:

Technical Skills

  • CM and CDRL data management tools and methodologies

  • DoD configuration audits and document control standards

  • Release management, version control, inventory tracking, and licensing

  • Working knowledge of DoDI 5230.24, DoDD 5230.25, DoD 5010.12-M, DFARS clauses, and ASSIST database

  • MS Office Suite; database manipulation and CM tools

Interpersonal Skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities

  • Strong verbal and written communication

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

  • Attention to detail and critical thinking in high-tempo environments
