Senior Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Analyst

Job Duties (Description of specific duties in a typical workday for this position):



  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies, applying Master Black Belt-level expertise.
  • Develop comprehensive business cases to support project prioritization, goal alignment, and return-on-investment analysis.
  • Observe and analyze operational processes to identify inefficiencies, waste, and improvement opportunities.
  • Identify and define key performance indicators (KPIs) and standard metrics to establish performance baselines and forecast potential improvements.
  • Facilitate and lead cross-functional teams in brainstorming, root cause analysis, and implementation of process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain value stream maps, measurement plans, and both short-term and long-term project roadmaps.
  • Create and deliver executive-level presentations that clearly communicate challenges, improvement strategies, project status, and measurable outcomes.
  • Integrate and track performance metrics and KPIs to evaluate the success of implemented improvements and ensure sustainability.
  • Monitor project performance over time to ensure long-term adherence to enhanced processes.



Requirements (Years of experience, Education, Certifications):



  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Lean Six Sigma roles, with proven leadership in process improvement initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Master Black Belt Certification is required.
  • Strong data analysis and performance measurement skills.
  • Experience in facilitating change management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Secret Clearance



Nice to Have:



  • Experience working in a government, defense, or regulated industry setting.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and performance dashboards.
  • Certification in project or change management (e.g., PMP, Prosci).



Travel Requirement:



  • Travel may be required up to 10% based on project or client needs.
