Genesis10 is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Provide enterprise solutions allowing internal business applications to securely exchange data with their external partners Provide testing support for the various transmission platforms within the bank which include production support-smoke test Provide front-end and back-end testing support for software applications on diverse development platforms, hardware, technologies, and tools Conduct end-to-end testing on applications and technology to ensure that business, technical, and functional requirements are being met throughout the SDLC Design, build and execute test scripts based upon test strategy/plans in an effort to identify defects prior to production deployment Capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing efficiently Identify and develop ways to improve the quality, capability, or efficiency of the testing process Enjoy working with new and emerging technologies Work in a fast-paced, evolving, growing and dynamic environment Requirements: Ability to work under minimal supervision on complex projects and tasks Excellent collaborator with strong communication skills Automation with Selenium, Cucumber-Java, Gherkins Web service and API testing (manual and automation) IBM SI experience with SSP and EA Cluster from the installation perspective Ability to liaise and work with remote team Good communication and problem-solving skills Linux, Unix Shell/Perl Scripting, Automation with Selenium, Cucumber-Java, Web Services and API testing IBM Integration Bus(IIB)/IBM WebSphere Messager Jira Desired skills: SDM/Horizon automation Knowledge of creating test cases in jUnit or nunit Knowledge of IBM Connect: Direct Load testing using Apache j-meter Knowledge of Encryption software like PGP Knowledge IBM/Sterling's Sterling Integrator 4.x/5.x Understand of networking concepts such as firewalls, proxies, etc. (Intermediate) SDM/Horizon automation, Knowledge of IBM Connect: Direct, Knowledge IBM/Sterling's Sterling Integrator 5.x/6.x Pay range : $49.37 - $57.37 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
