Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring a Billing Analyst. The Billing Analyst is responsible for preparing, reviewing and maintaining work orders to ensure consistent and accurate invoicing to internal and external customers and warranty recovery; assist service offices in maintaining current status updates on all work orders within a designated area of responsibility. Seeking candidates with previous experience in an administrative or clerical role. Experience with DBS/CAT systems, preferred. Parts and heavy equipment knowledge, preferred. College degree, a plus. Requirements for the Billing Analyst position include: Mechanical aptitude. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work in a fast-paced and high volume environment. Must have excellent customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Must be able to interact professionally with customers and all levels of personnel within the organization. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Must be able to interpret data and make quick decisions. Strong analytical skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Must be able to work additional hours as needed to meet customer demands. Promote a positive customer experience. Physical requirements must be met for the Billing Analyst job, including the ability sit or stand for prolonged periods of time. Able to lift, carry and maneuver items up to 10 pounds in weight.
