Brigham and Women's Primary Care is seeking a compassionate, mission-driven Pediatrician or Pediatrics-focused Family Medicine Physician (Board-Certified/Board-Eligible), committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Join our team as a valued outpatient Pediatrician at Southern Jamaica Plain Community Health Center in Jamaica Plain, MA, where you'll play a vital role in serving our vibrant and diverse community. You will be part of a collaborative well-resourced care team, with a strong administrative support.
Southern Jamaica Plain Community Health Center is a comprehensive facility offering a wide array of services, including primary care, laboratory services, and behavioral health. The center is hospital licensed by Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH) and is part of the Mass General Brigham (MGB) healthcare system. Our mission is to provide compassionate, high-quality, team-based care to all patients and families, with a strong focus on vulnerable and underserved populations. Most of our patients are MassHealth (Medicaid) recipients and come from nearby communities such as Jamaica Plain, Hyde Park, Mattapan, Dorchester, Roxbury, Roslindale, and West Roxbury.
We are deeply engaged with the community through a variety of outreach programs and a significant portion of our patient population is Spanish-speaking, including many first- and second-generation immigrants from the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and Central America. We are committed to delivering language-concordant and equitable care for all. We proudly care for a racially, ethnically, and linguistically diverse patient population, with a strong focus on supporting underserved and immigrant communities. In alignment with our mission, we are committed to delivering high-quality, culturally responsive, and language-concordant care that promotes dignity, inclusion, and equitable outcomes for all patients. Clinicians care for approximately nine patients per (4-hour) clinical session, with documentation supported by AI-powered scribe technology, allowing for more efficient, patient-centered care. Clinicians are supported by a collaborative comprehensive care team and robust administrative infrastructure, fostering a coordinated, team-based approach. The position is part-time, working four to five clinical sessions per week (each session is 4 hours), and requiring twice daily in-basket management.
We offer integrated pediatric and women's health services, along with embedded interdisciplinary support, including an on-site lactation specialist, clinical social worker, community health workers, and access to behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment. As part of our deep commitment to community health and equity, we maintain longstanding partnerships with programs such as Boston Healthy in the City and Reach Out and Read, and actively engage in community outreach initiatives. We foster a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture that values mentorship, well-being, and the professional growth of all team members, in pursuit of a more equitable and just health care system.

*Collaborative care model: You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of nurses, population health coordinators, clinical social workers, community health workers, and resource specialists.
