The Position

The Technology Excellence (TE) Lead provides strategic technology support for Access Solutions (AS) services and programs across the Genentech product portfolio. The TE Lead identifies and enables opportunities for enhanced technology experience and efficiency for internal and external customers, partners, and stakeholders, including patients and healthcare providers.

Reporting Structure:The TE Lead is an Individual Contributor who reports to the Technology Excellence Team Lead within the Operations Management Group (OMG).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enable optimal performance, productivity, and efficiency across Access Solutions (AS) through best-in-class technology and customer experience.

  • Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement of technical capabilities and related process enhancements.

  • Drive adoption of best practices, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across all relevant AS systems and applications.

  • Train and educate cross-functional teams on new or updated AS technologies and associated processes to optimize adoption.

  • Establish and cultivate cross-functional relationships by collaborating with all internal/external partners and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree (in business, life sciences, or related discipline) or equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry; 2+ years in technology program/project management or related experience.

  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills.

  • High proficiency with Microsoft Project, Access, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Word.

Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location in California is $126,000 and $235,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
