Slitter Operator *Shift: 1st, (5am-3pm)* Pay: $20/hr. (Based on experience) We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Slitter Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and processing metal through a slitting machine as part of our manufacturing operation. Job Description: Properly handle and process metal materials to prevent damage Thread and jog material through slitting machinery Set up and maintain cutting tools (knives, spacers, arbors, etc.) Accurately input and verify product data in the system Label, identify, and package materials per specifications Monitor machine performance and communicate issues promptly Inspect finished strips for quality-checking flatness, edge burrs, and surface defects Maintain clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards Stack and package materials according to job requirements Complete daily production paperwork accurately Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: Experience operating slitting or metal processing machinery is highly preferred Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail Ability to read and follow work instructions and product specifications Capable of using basic hand tools and measuring equipment (feeler gauges, calipers)
