SharePoint Developer, SME

Support mission-critical government operations as a SharePoint Developer SME in Arlington, VA. In this role, you will lead the design, migration, and sustainment of SharePoint Online and Power Platform solutions, directly enhancing collaboration and operational efficiency for a key federal customer.

Essential Duties

SharePoint & Power Platform Development

• Design, develop, and maintain solutions using SharePoint Online, SharePoint On-Premises, and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Lead migration efforts of legacy SharePoint environments to SharePoint Online.
• Develop custom workflows, web parts, and integrations to support evolving business needs.

Solution Design & Lifecycle Management

• Gather and document application requirements and lead full lifecycle software development.
• Create training plans, user documentation, and technical guides to support user adoption and governance.
• Design, code, test, and deploy web applications using modern development tools and best practices.

Collaboration & Process Improvement

• Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and improved workflows.
• Resolve complex technical issues efficiently while maintaining alignment with project timelines and stakeholder goals.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience designing and administering enterprise-level SharePoint environments.
• Proven experience implementing SharePoint best practices across setup, development, and maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical solutions using SharePoint and Power Platform.
• Proficiency in creating responsive, multi-platform web applications with a variety of tools and IDEs.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with XML and JSON data formats.
• Familiarity with SQL, Microsoft Dataverse, and relational data integration.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, and CSS3.

Education & Certification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Required Clearance

• Clearable - Ability to Obtain a Security Clearance

Travel

• Up to 10% travel may be required.
