RN Triage - Orthopedic Pediatrics - Days

Hourly Pay Range:

Position Highlights:

• Position: Registered Nurse Triage - Ortho Peds - Days - Traveling

• Locations: Traveling between Warrenville, Elmhurst, and Woodridge

• Full Time: 40 hours a week

• Hours:Clinics are open Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM. Holidays are evenings only. NO ON CALL OR WEEKENDS AT THIS TIME.

• Required Travel: Traveling between the 3 offices listed above

What you will do:

The RN Office Nurse Triage will manage patient health concerns and symptoms via a telephone. Telephone interactions require assessment, patient education and may require crisis intervention. The RN Office Nurse Triage will enter complete notes in EMR system as needed. The RN Office Nurse is responsible for scheduling appointments, reducing patient anxiety, patient education, and reducing risk of medical complications. The RN Office Nurse Triage will assist the clinical team with patient examinations and providing routine treatments, as needed

What you will need:

• Current Illinois RN license

• Minimum 4 years RN experience

• Office RN experience and BSN preferred

• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers required

• Prior work experience with Pediatric patients is highly preferred

• Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and carry/push up to 20 lbs.

• Able to effectively communicate in English, both written & verbal

• Flexible to scheduling changes including overtime and Saturday rotation

Preferred Experience:

• Prefer prior RN experience in PEDS (additional experience in Ortho would also be preferred)

• RN Surgical Experience
