Job Description:

Providing for loved ones, planning rewarding retirements, saving enough for whatever lies ahead - our policyholders count on us to be there when it matters most. It's a big ask, but it's one that we have the power to deliver when we work together. We collaborate and innovate - pushing one another to transform not just Pacific Life, but the entire industry for the better. Why? Because it's the right thing to do. Pacific Life is more than a job, it's a career with purpose. It's a career where you have the support, balance, and resources to make a positive impact on the future - including your own.

We're actively seeking a talented Implementation Associate to join our Institutional Retirement Solutions Group in Newport Beach, CA or Omaha, NE.

As an Implementation Associate, you'll move Pacific Life, and your career, forward by playing a key role in supporting Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) and Defined Contribution Lifetime Income (DCLI) transactions, working closely with plan sponsors and consultants to ensure smooth implementation and onboarding. We're looking for detail-oriented and relationship-driven individuals to join the team.

How you'll help move us forward:

  • Oversee every aspect of the onboarding process, from point of sale to successful transition of new plans, including contract and annuity certificate issuance for both PRT and DCLI products.

  • Coordinate timelines, action items, and delivery dates with consultants, plan sponsors, prior recordkeepers, and third-party administrators.

  • Lead Welcome Calls, meetings, contract reviews, and presentations to key stakeholders.

  • Communicate implementation status to external and internal stakeholders.

  • Support and help create due diligence presentations; participate in meetings and present as needed.

  • Track post-placement activities and generate documents using Salesforce.

  • Facilitate information gathering for compliance, operations, and pricing to ensure accurate contract documentation.

  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external contacts throughout implementation and ongoing support.

  • Ensure timely follow-through on commitments to clients.

  • Support the team with ad hoc projects, including new products and client implementations.

The experience you bring:

  • Knowledge with defined benefit and defined contribution plans.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and relationship management skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

What makes you stand out:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or related field

  • Industry experience with Pension Risk Transfer and DCLI (sales, quoting, legal document review, relationship building/marketing).

  • Project management experience

  • Life Insurance license preferred (can be obtained within first year).

  • Advanced degrees/designations (FSA, MBA, CFA, etc.).

You can be who you are.
