RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:



  • Creating and managing production schedule within software application to ensure that customer ship dates are achieved and inventory is available. This includes scheduling of equipment and supplies to production and staff to responsibilities.
  • Prepare and manage reports related to production efficiencies, raw materials needed and inventory levels. Ensure employees are completing written documentation of production and quality measurements.
  • Works closely with purchasing, shipping and sales order team members.
  • Ensure finished goods are being made with correct materials, correct mix ratio, and the product is within quality parameters.
  • Work with Plant Manager to ensure proper staffing levels are maintained.
  • Supervise a team of up to 6 employees and provide motivation, support and guidance.
  • Work closely with the Maintenance Technician to ensure production equipment is operational and downtime is minimized.
  • Ensure health, safety and compliance standards are being followed.
  • Comply and enforce all company policies and procedures.
  • Communicate problems or obstacles to Plant Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:



  • At least 3 years of previous production experience.
  • Ability to Drive Forklift
  • 1-2 years of previous supervisory experience.
  • Ability to operate applications and order management software including proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to problem solve and escalate issues when needed.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work is performed in a manufacturing setting with machinery. Physical essential functions of the job include but are not limited to: standing or sitting for long periods of time, bending, reaching, and moving around machinery. Lifting up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Ability to consistently work in extreme temperatures.
