Who we are looking for

Purpose

We are searching for a dynamic HCP Marketer to join our growing US AIR Marketing Team. This newly created position will initially focus on pre-launch preparation for the Respiratory Therapeutic Area.


We want to find an experienced promotional marketer with the skills, experience, and passion to help us fulfill our mission of helping to introduce Chiesi and our products to the US respiratory community. This position will guide key commercial projects to engage target HCPs. We seek someone who can work effectively in a dynamic team-environment, with a high degree of autonomy. This position reports to the Senior HCP Marketer and will start as an individual contributor.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop the HCP promotional calendar, promotions and KPIs to measure promotion effectiveness and manage execution of the promotions with cross-functional teams
  • Manage the congress/trade show strategy from budgets, planning, execution, booth setup/tear down, pre/post communication and execution of all promotional and branding initiatives
  • Lifecycle management of all Marketing assets including identification of business needs, creative briefs and collaborations with agency, communication of assets to the field and management in Veeva
  • Collaborate with Brand, Sales, and Training to seek feedback and ensure our HCP strategy and messaging is properly translated in all efforts
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing on content and tools for HCP support and messaging
  • Frequently evaluate competitive programs and proactively communicate findings and recommendations that perpetuate a best-in-class mindset
  • Partner with other Marketing functions to manage initiatives and contracted projects with external agencies as needed
  • Engage in frequent customer facing interactions such as field rides, in-office meetings, events, and other activities as needed
  • Work with business excellence colleagues to conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, product performance and potential competitive threats.
  • Partner cross-functionally with patient marketing, omnichannel/digital marketing, patient advocacy, customer experience, US medical affairs, commercial operations, market access, training and field teams, to ensure strategic alignment and executional excellence.
  • Guide key agency relationships with accountability for achievement of goals and an eye towards innovation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and corporate requirements both separately and for respiratory patients
  • Contribute to Leadership requests and presentations (e.g., Launch Readiness Updates, Tactical Plans) as necessary.

Experience Required

  • 4+ years' experience in pharma HCP marketing
  • Previous product launch experience
  • History of success managing multiple priorities with excellent organizational and critical thinking skills on time and within budget
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Pioneer innovative projects and support thoughtful risk taking
  • Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience working with field based teams
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and other marketing tools.
  • Thorough understanding of regulatory, legal and compliance requirements.
  • Experience navigating medical, legal, regulatory process in a collaborative way
  • Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative environment -- outstanding relationship-building and influencing skills.
  • Agency management
  • Ability to work independently with guidance only needed on the most complex tasks
  • Flexibility to travel (up to 40% travel anticipated if based in Cary, more if remote)
  • Preferred qualifications:AGILE marketing experience, digital experience, respiratory experience (asthma and/or COPD)

Education

Bachelor's Degree Marketing, Communications, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
