Maintenance Technician
Who we are looking for:
We are currently searching for a Maintenance Technician to be based out of Louisville, KY. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager this person's primary focus will be to maintain production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. Also, this person will be responsible for conducting, daily, weekly, monthly PM's. Conduct repairs on plant equipment.
What you'll do:
- Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on production machines and equipment.
- Preforms maintenance on buildings and grounds.
- Will have the ability to follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications to troubleshooting malfunctions.
- Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Remove defective parts by dismantling devices using hand and power tools.
- Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance requirements.
- Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop tools and equipment.
- Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Will assist the Production Department with die assemble, die cleanup, startups and shutdowns.
- Will perform tool changes on Belling Machines and Perforators when required.
- Will monitor stock levels of Maintenance supplies and spare parts and inform supervisor of items needing to be ordered.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
What you'll bring:
- Minimum educational requirement is high school diploma, or equivalent
- Must supply own hand tools and tool box.
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience with installation of machinery and equipment as well as dis-assembly.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
- Good understanding of basic math required for quick and accurate counting and calculations
- Attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization
- Must be adaptable to changes in the work environment, comfortable with multiple competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events in a calm and logical manner.

Within 3 months, you'll:
- Complete any required training
- Have developed relationships with the key stakeholders for this role.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $34.25. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills,
seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change
over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses,
commissions, stock, and other incentives.
