About the Role:

We are seeking Contracts Professional to help oversee and manage contract administration duties and ensuring our complex contracts and in compliance with legal and company standards.

What You Will Do - Key Job Elements
  • Help lead the proposal efforts, negotiations, execution of modifications of existing and new contracts.
  • Will correspond and interface with the customer daily for routine sole source / competitive procurement (ex: Technology development contracts)
  • Coordinate all required approvals and notifications pursuant to Contract Administration Procedures and Company Standard Practices (SP).
  • Participate and advise in in the preparation of quotations, bids and proposals.
  • Draft Sales Orders, requests for estimates and all other required contract administration documentation corresponding with complexity listed above.
  • Follow up on tracking on customer correspondence and issues
  • Interface with internal and external customers to ensure prompt resolution of problems and effective day-to-day communication.
  • Organize, track and input data to support department metrics and quality initiatives.
  • Will work closely with senior level Contracts Administrator as a mentor.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications / What you must have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, Economics, International Studies, Supply Chain.
  • Other bachelor's degrees or disciplines considered with experience.
  • Juris Doctor, MBA a plus.
  • 1-3years professional experience in contracts, procurement, or relevant discipline.
  • Prior experience with Government contracting is strongly desired
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and accomplish tasks in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reading, interpreting, drafting contractual language and documents.
  • Must be able to multitask and function under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledgeable in the FAR and DFARSrequired desired
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Works well in a team and independently.
  • Great presentation skills a plus

Additional Information:

This position may require eligibility to obtain a US security clearance. (Non-US Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance)
  • Able to bring continuous improvement processes and methodologies to the position. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills is required.
  • Works well in team and individually
  • Must be able to work occasional evening and/or weekend overtime if required
