What You'll Be Doing:



  • Perform detailed electromechanical assembly of Class I & II medical devices, including optical sub-systems, PCBs, wiring harnesses, and mechanical components
  • Follow detailed assembly procedures, work instructions, schematics, and drawings with high attention to detail
  • Conduct functional tests and diagnostics using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and custom test setups to verify performance
  • Collaborate with Quality and Engineering to troubleshoot issues, implement rework, and support design changes
  • Ensure adherence to GMP, ISO 13485, and FDA manufacturing standards
  • Accurately document build steps, test results, and material traceability in ERP and DHR systems
  • Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement activities
  • Maintain cleanroom or controlled-environment procedures when required

Requirements

What You Bring:



  • 3-5 years of experience in medical device, aerospace, or high-tech electronics assembly
  • Proficiency with electromechanical systems, optical components, and micro-assembly techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and BOMs
  • Skilled in the use of standard hand tools, soldering equipment, and precision assembly fixtures
  • Familiar with test equipment such as multimeters, power supplies, and fiber inspection tools
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills, especially in regulated environments
  • Positive attitude, team player, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
