Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a highly motivated Facility Director who is responsible for delivering all Facilities Services to enable Peraton's ability to deliver the necessary infrastructure to our workforce while empowering the business to deliver on our critical, secure missions for our customers.

In this role, they will have responsibility for leading a multi-located organization that engages all parts of the company and plays a pivotal role in delivering facility services for both classified and unclassified environments, direct and indirect sites, building SCIFs, and supporting new business opportunities across the company. The Facilities Director operates as a partner across the portfolio to improve coordination, provides guidance and develops operational solutions to increase margins, improve program/sector operations, win proposals and meet and exceed the Sectors and Corporate obligations.

The Facilities Director and Real Estate Director will work as team under the leadership of the Vice President of Operations. This leadership team oversees physical sites (89), staff (25+), Leases and Subleases, staff training, and partners at our sites. Solid execution is critical to ensure the health and safety of our staff, partners, and customers. The ideal candidate will ensure that our facilities organization operates as a collaborative partner to our 5 Sectors for program execution and winning new business. As an effective leader, they will need to possess strong organizational and collaborative leadership skills. They will need to be hands-on, leading by example. The position requires the ability to adjust to new and evolving requirements within a fast-paced environment. The qualified executive will possess a wide breadth of demonstrated business, financial, and management skills. A key aspect of this position is for the individual to constantly drive the culture of finding innovative and more cost effective solutions to every aspect of the operation.



Qualifications

    Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, or related discipline, and 16+ years of experience in key contributor and leadership roles in Operations, to include experience in Real Estate, Facilities and Program Management.
  • Ability to develop and implement a comprehensive Facilities strategy to meet current and future Peraton needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive stellar team collaboration to empower delivery of services and long-term success.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare, manage and track budgets while ensuring high return on corporate investment.
  • Financial management is critical to ensure accurate accounting and tracking of accounts and General Ledger, Capital and Tennent Improvement Funds, and Budgets and Forecasts
  • Drive alternative sources of funding. Capital, Landlord Tennent Improvement Funds, Customer, Sublessor
  • Proven ability to support new business growth by offering various solutions and writing fact-based proposals to secure program wins.
  • Expertise with the implementation of SCIF builds and maintenance to meet government requirements.
  • Experience in negotiation of Terms & Conditions and Scope with Vendors and Landlords
  • Must have a passion for driving user/employee satisfaction and a track record of delivering measurable improvements
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively build relationships with executives throughout the organization, ensuring support for strategic initiatives
  • Must be willing to travel to multiple facilities in the Northern Virgina area

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
