Principal Software Engineer - Urology Division Arden Hills, MN or Marlborough, MA (Hybrid 3+ days per week) About the role: As a Principal Software Engineer in Boston Scientific's Urology Division, you will lead the design of advanced software solutions that power innovative medical devices and digital platforms aimed at transforming kidney stone care and improving patient outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to design and implement cutting-edge technologies and algorithms to solve real-world clinical challenges, directly impacting the quality of life for patients around the world. You will leverage deep technical expertise in C++ application development, the Linux operating system, and cybersecurity to architect, develop, and deliver robust, secure, and scalable systems. Your work will span the full software development lifecycle - from concept through commercialization - within a highly regulated environment. As a technical leader and hands-on contributor, you will guide system integration, ensure compliance with medical device standards, and mentor technical teams. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
