OVERVIEW: The HRBA at our Murfreesboro Yoplait manufacturing plant will be responsible for leading critical HR processes and general support to plant operations, and will be a key partner in the future state of the HR funciton for the plant. This individual will contribute to HR strategy via support for internal staffing and movements, and external staffing initiatives. This individual will manage payroll, which is key to running a successful operation. This position will require considerable interaction and collaboration with plant leadership, production team members, external candidates, and HR Shared Services. This position will work closely with corporate recruiting, payroll, and leave and disability teams. - Lead internal and external hiring processes for production team members, including internal job bids, external recruiting efforts, job postings, assessments, interview preparation, offers and contingencies, and candidate tracking
- Execute weekly payroll processes in partnership with centralized teams including daily allocations, submitting payroll, following up on missed punches, running reports, audits, safety shoe reimbursements, annual rate increases, etc.
- Process and administer annual compensation changes, non-standard payments, and employee reward/incentive payments
- Administer and lead FMLA, Disability and Leaves of Absence cases; serve as a local subject matter expert for leave and disability processes
- Provide day-to-day HR customer service to all plant team members, including researching and resolving questions or issues
- Provide servant leadership and customer service on plant production floor with employees
- Own annual HR processes (as needed) including team policy revisions, team leadership elections, annual awards, open enrollment, and other initiatives
- Partner with HR Manager in strategy development and execution
- Provide leadership for HR process improvements as needed
- Lead and manage additional tactical and administrative HR processes for the plant as needed
- Provide necessary coverage to team members as needed due to time off
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Labor Relations, Business Administration, or related field
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, and credibility
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, and proactive in building relationships
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize workload
- Strong technical skills with proficiency in Microsoft based applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and SharePoint; with a willingness to learn and master other software programs as needed
- Ability to think critically and analytically
- Practical and creative approach to problem solving and ability to work with ambiguity
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Masters in Human Resources/Industrial Labor Relations or MBA preferred
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Prior experience in recruiting or payroll
- Expertise in disability and leave of absence options and/or related policies
- Strong computer skills, system proficiency, and payroll software knowledge
- Strong analytical, quantitative and critical thinking skills - ability to prepare and analyze HR reports with Excel, translate data into recommendations and take appropriate action to achieve desired business results
- Ability to plan, lead, manage, and execute projects independently and implement change initiatives in a complex environment
- Strong leadership, influence skills, and ability to apply sound judgment to decision-making

ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS: This role is not remote eligible. International relocation or international remote working arrangements (outside of the US) will not be considered. The salary range for this position is $68700.00 - $103200.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
