We are seeking a highly-detail oriented individual to join our team as a Contract Specialist. This is a permanent, 1.0 FTE position working daytime hours, M-F. This role offers a flexible, hybrid work environment, combining remote work with initial on-site training.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of contractual agreements, including preparation, compliance, development, review, maintenance, and changes. This includes:

• Coordinating and preparing documentation to analyze the financial and administrative impact of contracts, identifying issues to optimize contract performance.

• Reviewing, negotiating, and implementing contracts ensuring completeness and compliance with corporate policies; participating in audits and problem-solving activities.

• Leading and training team members on data entry processes for the department database; collaborating with IS to develop reports and workflows.

• Monitoring contract performance using software tools and feedback from internal stakeholders.

• Assisting senior management and directors in contract creation and maintenance to support service delivery.

• Researching and resolving contractual issues promptly; overseeing contract renewals to maintain clean and effective agreements.

• Developing and maintaining streamlined processes for contracting activities and communication across departments.

• Facilitating administrative meetings with business partners to address contract performance and operational concerns.

What you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Legal or Finance or Healthcare Administration or a health related field

• 2-4 years experience in managed care, business, legal studies, health or related field
